We support anyone with poor mental health and those bereaved by suicide. We facilitate peer support groups, our mental health support groups are weekly, we have a mixture of activities such as art / crafts, games, meditation, planting pots, all the time chatting / sharing and supporting each other and some weeks its nothing in particular just chatting / supporting but maybe on a particular theme eg sleep. We try to get speakers in once a month and on the last Wed of each month we have Bonsai Chi, which is similar to Thai chi. We support people inbetween support groups, by various social media, including emails, texts, WhatsApp. We meet for coffee, in various small groups, we go on trips to National Trust or a museum, go walking, the sea side etc. A lot of the people that come to us live on their own so are also lonely, so meeting up in a safe place where they wont be judged is very important for them.
