Belu is a fast growth social enterprise with a purpose that makes all of us at ‘Team Belu’ think differently about the way we work. We won’t go into all the detail here – check out our latest impact report https://belu.org/impact-report/ to see what we mean.
In 2020, we launched our new 10-year strategy and raised investment to support our ambition to scale.
We’ve also… • Given WaterAid over £5.2 million since 2011 to bring clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to everyone, everywhere • Cut our carbon intensity by 69% since 2010 and measure with the current goal to reduce and remove all of our carbon outputs across Scope 1, 2 and 3 • Welcomed new people to Belu, doubling the size of the team from our 2020 base. • Started selling direct to consumers • Partnered with likeminded brands to cobrand product lines • Taken Belu global, starting with Filter in Action in Hong Kong • Brought a new line of tonics and mixers to market • Refreshed our brand • Won a load of wonderful new customers • Changed our company Articles to align to the UN Sustainable Development Goals
…And most of that was done in the middle of a pandemic!
We are a small, high-performing team, we make the most of technology to stay connected, manage business operations, and deliver a best-in-class service for our customers. To reach our global growth and impact goals we welcome new ideas, networks and ‘ways of thinking, creating and doing’ to the team.
We offer all the usual work benefits, all of which are progressively enhanced to support an equitable, diverse and inclusive culture. We are a flexible, hybrid-working team. We have just moved into a new office in Borough Yards (London Bridge) where we are surrounded by our customers; to make the most of this, these roles are London/Office based but there is no mandated use of the office.
