Bijou Weddings

We're a wedding venues and services business - we own and run our own group of boutique country house wedding venues in the home counties and we 'do' about 300 weddings a year across the group. When we say 'do' - we plan coordinate cater organise design and ultimately deliver them. It's easier to say 'do'. If it's weddings-related we probably dabble.

About us

We also like trying new things - whether it's opening a wedding dress shop or creating a summer season of activity holidays (yoga, anyone?) in our French Chateau. Always moving, always developing.

We (the "Head Office" team - about 15 out of the 40 full-timers) are based at one of our venues in Surrey - not far from Junction 11 of the M25. The office windows look out over acres of parkland and skyline as far as the eye can see. West London is within easy commuting distance as long as you have a car (you can see Wembley and the Shard from the roof but don't tell the Health and Safety Inspector that we know that). Friday lunchtime is normally Domino's o'clock and we pride ourselves on the quality of our coffee.

Why are we exciting?

Who doesn't love a good wedding?

We spend the huge majority of our our time surrounded by people who are insanely happy. Yeah, sure, we get the odd bride/groomzilla, but that's all part of the fun. And while everyone loves a good wedding, everyone loves a good wedding planning meltdown story even more...!

Working with us you will have the opportunity to witness a lot of very happy days. You'll be part of the team that make those happen and that make the beautiful memories possible.

You'll also have the ability to carve out your own specific role if you're so inclined. Over and above the normal weddings business we are usually delving into something (or somethings) different too. Usually these are related (wedding dress shop, cake making for instance) but sometimes they're less obviously linked and even more entertaining. We're always needing willing volunteers who want to step out of their comfort zone.

Our team is fantastic. We're mostly young - the majority ranging from early 20s to mid-30s but with a few oldies knocking around too (equal opportunities employer, see?). It's a great team dynamic, we all love what we do, and we all get on mega-well.
