Escape's take on Bike Club
Bike Club are doing wonders for the circular economy in the realm of cycling. They're a hire-exchange platform that enables you to pay monthly for kids bikes and swap them as they grow up. Not only does this reduce waste but they hope to increase interest and accessibility in cycling by allowing children a more financially sustainable means of getting a bigger bike as they grow. It's a model that, understandably, they're keen to roll out to other product ranges and increase their impact. Look for Bike Club to be a riser in future Escape 100 lists!
