As London’s oldest charity for blind and visually impaired people, BlindAid has worked to improve quality of life and promotes independence for isolated Londoners with a visual impairment for 188 years. We provide individualised practical and emotional support to reduce the social isolation that many people living with a visual impairment can experience. Our services are free at the point of use, and are a mix of community based (face to face), online and telephone based support. We aim to reduce social isolation, increase independence and improve levels self-confidence for our beneficiaries.
