Established since 2006 Bodia has started its activities by opening sheltering cocooning Spas (www.bodia-spa.com) in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh proposing an authentic vision of relaxation in a modernly designed Cambodian Spa.  In order to guaranty the quality of its treatment Bodia has created its own line of natural products made in Cambodia that promotes the local know-hows and uses local resources under the brand Bodia Cambodian Apothecary (www.bodia.com).

Our vision is to garantee a positive social impact in Cambodia through a profitable activity that gives priority to partnership with local suppliers, farmers, artisans and NGO following the principles of fare trade while offering to our collaborators a decent wage, medical care, internal training and real evolution and education perspectives. 

Nowadays, Bodia is a network of 3 Spas dispensing quality treatments and proposing therapist training to other Spa or hotels and extending its service to franchise opening. Products are made in our own factory in Phnom Penh and sold in Spas, 6 dedicated boutiques, a network of 50 local customers, 1 online store. 

In order to support and develop its operations, Bodia is seeking for a Communication & marketing supervisor.

Duration:  Initial contract length is 1 years - renewable

The Communication & marketing supervisor will depend on:

  • -Bodia Sales Manager
  • -Bodia General Manager
  • -Business Development manager
  • -Phnom Penh boutique manager
  • -Bodia Spa Phnom Penh regional manager
  • -Hotels/partnership Sales executive
  • -Advertising and Promotion:
    • Create company literature and other forms of communication.
    • Research media coverage and industry trends.
    • Implement and follow up the Bodia advertising policy optimization determined in cooperation with Sales manager. Negotiate best publishing rates with advertising supports.
    • Negotiate with printing houses and find the best compromise between quality & price for all printing work of the brand.
    • Coordinate with the graphic designer for communication supports creation, edition and printing.
    • Occasionally create graphic designs for publications, or any forms of offline & online activities when deadlines cannot be met by the graphic designer.
    • Implement reporting system with operational team to control and monitor the efficiency of advertising and communication strategic choices.
    • Cooperation with Sales Manager to create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic; with accordance to short term and long term marketing & sales objectives.
    • Responsible for all online communication:
      • Newsletter ‚Äö√Ñ√¨ including writing the word content, and occasionally graphic designs if the graphic designer is unable to meet deadlines. Edition and posting of newsletter.
      • SMS Campaign
      • Social media posts animation (Facebook, Instagram,  Twitter, Pinterest)
      • Website updates based on marketing and sales strategy
    • Responsible for all offline communication:
      • Promote products and services through public relations initiatives
      • Be aware of any opportunity of partnership, sponsorship
      • Develop the visibility of the brand through exhibition or showroom
      • Attend to any networking events in order to promote the brand
  • -Selling points display implementation and monitoring
  • -Marketing strategy/planning
  • -Budget management
    • Advertising (offline and online/above the line and below the line):
    • Marketing & decoration
  • -Recruit and train communication & Marketing team members.

Scope of work:

In order to coordinate its communication policy and actions, Bodia (Spa & Nature) is grouping all communication activities under supervision of one Communication & marketing supervisor. Its main role shall be as follow:

  • Support all Bodia operational branches with communication& Marketing expertise.

Management and Operational responsibilities:

Communication & marketing supervisor is in charge of all communication supports used to promote the Bodia brand and services:

Communication & marketing supervisor is in charge of setting up the decoration and products information supports at selling places. He/ she is in charge of training the staff (resellers &/ or Bodia’s) accordingly in order to ensure a constant valued image of Bodia brand and products. He/ She shall visit places regularly in order to control the proper maintenance.

Cooperate with sales manager and business development manager to create and implement a Marketing & Sales Plan.

Implement marketing Plan on social media & internet and supply marketing and communication supports to sales team for retail & wholesale locations.

Invest advertising budget wisely, track and report performance ratio.

Maintain the identity and level of marketing by controlling promotion material budget (kakemonos, tags, decorations, props, business cards, banners, basically any form of imagery/communications material that would be seen by the public …)

Human Resources responsibilities:

By closely managing its team, the Communication & marketing supervisor ensures that all tasks are securely handled to ensure the expected communication & marketing performance, brand visibility, satisfaction to customers’ online questions & remarks.

Keep administrative documentation up to date (job descriptions, flow chart, holidays or purchases request…). Provide documentation and training to insufflate the company culture to every team member. (Designer 1pax, Intern 1 pax)
