Bootstrap Company

We are the UK's oldest social enterprise and have been in Hackney since 1980. We run a 3 buildings full of 500 creative and social entrepreneurs. There is a roof top bar a gallery and a world war two bunker and we have a busy programme of cultural activities. Our education project Bootstrap Campus supports young unemployed people to get back into work and last year we had over 300 participants.

We provide affordable workspace for SMEs, charities, social enterprises, start-ups and freelancers in the heart of Dalston, Hackney

Community Events

We run a range of events and community spaces such as the Dalston Roof Park, BootYard, Bee Garden, Bunker and Print House Gallery. We programme these spaces to bring together the local community to be inspired, have fun and make new connections.

Enterprise Support

We provide support to our tenant network and local businesses to become sustainable organisations which contribute actively to the local community & economy.

Skills & Training

We run a programme of work to support 18-24 year olds to develop employability skills and engage with our tenant network to find fulfilling employment.
