When your business is fighting breast cancer there's no room for anything less than 100% commitment drive and passion.

We're looking for someone with high levels of energy and drive to join this vibrant and ambitious charity and to lead our Major Giving work as part of a dynamic and forward thinking fundraising team.

Our amazing supporters and innovative fundraising generate income of c. –à18m p.a. which funds Breakthrough's ground breaking work translating into better treatments for people affected by breast cancer across the UK and the chance to save more lives lost to the disease.We are currently developing plans for making the greatest difference we can in our field and our major giving work will play a pivotal role in helping to grow the income which will underpin these exciting developments

A strong leader your style and approach will be inclusive and collaborative with the ability to influence and build excellent relationships across a diverse stakeholder group including at the highest level externally to achieve maximum support for our cause.The successful candidate will have a proven track record in securing major gifts and will be able to demonstrate solid experience in leading a major giving team to success.You will be a strategic thinker with an innovative approach who can translate that thinking into action and you will be financially astute with strong experience of building managing & forecasting complex budgets.

In addition to all UK bank holidays we offer 25 days annual leave pro rata plus all working days between Christmas and New Year _ day on Christmas Eve a pension scheme and a cash health plan.
