British Schools Exploring Society

The British Schools Exploring Society (BSES) is a youth development charity offering opportunities for personal development through exciting overseas wilderness expeditions. Current locations include the polar regions the Amazon the Himalayas and the Deserts of Namibia and Oman.

The society offers expeditions during the summer months for those aged 16 - 22 and gap year opportunities for young people up to 25. In addition the society's outreach programme offers places to disadvantaged young people on fully supported dedicated expeditions with qualified youth workers and adventure leaders.
