British Wireless for the Blind Fund (BWBF)

We enrich the lives of people living with sight loss by offering a range of equipment including digital radios, CD Players, Alexa devices, Talking Apps and much more. Our devices are designed with features that allow them to be used easily and independently by a blind person. This is a fast-growing need; technology is getting smaller and sleeker, making it harder to use for those without sight.  Here at BWBF, we want to make sure that as technology moves on, people living with sight loss aren’t left behind.  By providing easy to use equipment, we are supporting blind people to have the same access to audio as a person with sight would have. Not only do we offer a wide range of equipment, but we also operate a network of compassionate and dedicated volunteers, who, via home visits and telephone calls, support the recipients of our equipment to use it happily and independently.
