The award-winning Calderdale Industrial Museum is located in central Halifax, close to such well-known attractions as the Piece Hall, the Minster, and the Square Chapel Arts Centre. Originally operated by Calderdale Council, the Museum was closed for over a decade before being revived by a group of committed and enthusiastic volunteers, who restored it to a condition where it could be re-opened to the public, and continue to work towards making it one of the most inviting and rewarding cultural destinations in the region. We currently have about 90 active volunteers and 250 members.
