The Charity is a consortium, each Local Citizens Advice in Essex being a member. The charity's aims and objectives are to promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of the community in Essex and surrounding areas by the advancement of education, the protection and preservation of health and the relief of poverty, sickness and distress. This is achieved by providing free, confidential, impartial and independent information, advice and guidance to help people overcome the issues they face. The work takes place primarily through our 10 members. Each member has a main site supported by further outreaches and our telephone service, Adviceline
