City to Sea is an environmental not-for-profit, campaigning to stop plastic pollution at source. Our award-winning campaigns are tackling the single-use plastic items found most commonly on our beaches and in our rivers and oceans by providing practical solutions.

By working with communities, businesses and government, we’re inspiring and empowering everyone to tackle plastic pollution. We believe collective action is key to lasting behaviour change and encourage everyone to rethink, refuse, reduce and reuse across all of our campaigns.

Most of us want to be responsible citizens working to make things better, but sometimes it can feel a little overwhelming. Where do you start? That's where City to Sea comes in, making it easy for each of us to understand the small actions we can take every day to turn the tide on plastic pollution. City to Sea brings humour, humility, and enthusiasm to a depressing issue, making it easy to get involved and become an everyday activist. Their mission and ecocredentials are clear, little wonder therefore why they ended up scoring highly in the Escape 100 this year. Not content with simply making the planet a cleaner and healthier place, they focus equally on making City to Sea an amazing place to work.
