Coldharbour Mill Trust was founded in 1982 by volunteers who wanted to save the Mill buildings. machinery, processes as an educational visitor destination. More than 30 years on, volunteers are central to everything the organisation does. Coldharbour Mill's aim is to welcome, and encourage a diverse, enthusiastic, sustainable enhanced learning and development experience for volunteers. We provide a framework in which our staff and our volunteers work with common purpose to transform and enable a 21st century visitor educational experience and to be sustainable, economically viable charity for many generations to come. With a range of different volunteering opportunities available we have something to suit every taste, whether it be working with our heritage machinery to gardening and outdoor projects.
