About us:

The Curriculum Open-Access Resources for Economics (CORE) community is creating a new way to teaching economics in a changing world. Textbooks are free online and question-motivated, and are now taught at more than 100 universities.

Our introductory text is called The Economy, also available in print. In development: a text for non-economics majors called Economy, Society and Public Policy, and Doing Economics, practical projects that use real-world data.

We are:

1. a global community of learners, teachers and researchers
2. a problem-motivated and interactive way to learn economics
3. bringing recent developments in the subject into the classroom
4. giving everyone the tools to understand the economics of the world around them
