We are building a human-centred application for smartglasses to help people with cognitive impairment and dementia maintain resilience and independence. Our multidisciplinary team is driven by a mission to enhance human potential, particularly for those in challenging circumstances. By merging artificial intelligence with the physical world, our software assists users in navigating essential activities like planning, task execution, and social interaction. This approach is designed to preserve the functional identity of the individual by creating a "cognitive scaffold" that supports memory and executive function.

Our AI companion, Wispy, sees what the user sees and hears what they hear via augmented reality (AR) glasses or smartphones. Wispy provides compassionate, proactive guidance grounded in neuropsychological science and evidence-based interventions. We have been developing extended reality software since 2016 and are currently a finalist for the Longitude Prize on Dementia, with further R&D funding from the NIHR and Innovate UK. We are now preparing for a major study this summer, followed by a planned commercial release of our app at the end of 2026.
