Dipped In Creativity Engagement (DICE), is a social enterprise that works primarily with 14-25 year-olds to increase mental health awareness and community well-being. We are a youth-led organisation that uses skill-based activities, social events to run co-designed creative programmes. Through our work, we hope to support people facing intersecting barriers and provide employment opportunities. Our values are at the heart of everything we do: championing the individual, collaboration over competition, inclusivity, creativity, and co-design. Set up by co-founders, Kianu and Aaliyah Glasgow who are twin sisters that are committed to giving back to their community and upskilling young people to become greater leaders in their communities. We started off as a voluntary group in 2018 supporting young people and adults who were not in education, training, or employment (NEET). In 2019, we decided to formalise our offer and our creative programmes were born, putting individuals' happiness and wellbeing at the centre of our work. Very often at that time, we were operating on a shoestring, self-funded and regularly volunteering our time in the community with other youth and community volunteers.
