Former youth justice worker and Forbes 30 Under 30 Entrepreneur Josh Babarinde is the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for the marginal seat of Eastbourne (currently held by the Conservatives).
Josh made national headlines when he led the campaign for Eastbourne to be the first place in the UK to declare a ‘cost of living emergency’, as it has the country’s busiest foodbank. Dozens of other towns and cities followed.
Eastbourne had a Lib Dem MP up until the last election, and is one of the party’s top target seats.
In the May 2023 local elections, Josh’s Lib Dem team won 70% of the council seats in Eastbourne.
