EdUKaid is a small, highly efficient, and effective charity with a clear vision. Founded in 2003, EdUKaid operates in the remote Mtwara region of Tanzania improving both the access to and quality of education for some of the country’s most disadvantaged children living in extreme poverty. Our mission is to make lasting changes by improving education - giving children the opportunity of a better future. Supporting particularly isolated communities, EdUKaid delivers a range of early-years and primary education focused projects identified and designed in partnership with local communities, government schools and key stakeholders. Our grassroots approach has been key to our success, ensuring high levels of community engagement which has been integral to improving attitudes towards education – particularly the education of girls and children with disabilities and special educational needs.  Since 2003 EdUKaid has positively impacted on the lives of over 20,000 children and brought hope to a whole community.
