Enacting peace is set up to empower people. Four times a year, on the Solstices and Equinoxes, we are inviting people to act for peace. It could be as simple as lighting a candle or as complex as producing a concert.  There are no dues, no dogma, no politics. Just simply acts of peace. We believe that while peace is the natural state, it takes the support and encouragement of all of us to be constantly revived.   We need to celebrate peace and be grateful for peace. All too often people are attracted by the kinetic energy of violence while not recognizing the power of peace.  Our objective it so invite people to be aware of peace, at least four times a year, and to act to encourage peace. Enacting peace was founded in 2023; its first activity on the Winter Solstice last year.  Since then, we have been growing internationally.  On both the Spring and Autumnal Equinoxes and the Summer Solstice we have held events online that we simulcast internationally. Twice from Assisi in Italy and once from California.  We are now partnered with a broad range of organizations including the Ananda Community, Interfaith Scotland, the Bandaloop Dance Company in the U.S. and even a local London barber.  Our target is to get a million people consciously acting for peace on the same day, just four times a year.  My hope is that people experience the power of peace and realize that peace is the prerequisite for everything from the raising a child to the dealing with climate change.
