Equity for Tanzania

EFTA offers an equipment leasing product without collateral, providing access to finance to small businesses and farmers in Tanzania. The EFTA model is breaking new ground in development finance, recognised in the Economist as an innovative financing solution for small businesses and farmers, as well as awards from the G-20 and the African Enterprise Challenge Fund (AECF). Having expanded our branch network recently across Tanzania in Dar, Mwanza, Arusha, Mbeya, Dodoma, Morogoro and Bukoba, EFTA is pioneering leasing for small businesses and farmers in East Africa and poised to replicate the model in regions outside of Tanzania.

EFTA‚Äö√Ñ√¥s head office is in Moshi, located on the foothills of Kilimanjaro, with current investors based across Europe and Canada. We have an experienced management team, with backgrounds in finance and operations management with global banking, industrial products and professional services firms.
