Every week FEAST! volunteers collect surplus food from local supermarkets that would otherwise be thrown away and use the food donations to create a delicious and healthy three-course meal to share with the residents of Conway House in Kilburn, London. Conway House provides temporary accommodation for men who have lost their homes and might otherwise be facing life on the street.
Many of the residents live isolated lives. On top of providing warm food, the communal FEAST! meals offer a much-valued opportunity for social interaction. It's a wonderful experience to get creative in the kitchen, to share a meal, share a laugh, to sit all together and have a chat over dinner - for both residents and volunteers.
