Conservation, education and.. fun! At Flooglebinder our aim is to inspire students to become change-makers and future leaders through educational trips that connect them with the world, helping to build confidence and resilience.
Flooglebinder provides educational conservation programmes that include aspects of culture and community, with the aim to conserve threatened habitats, protect endangered species and ultimately create better global citizens.
Our connection with travel and conservation runs deep. As a kid, Ian would sit cross legged on the floor in front of the TV wondering how he could become the next David Attenborough. And Brad’s curiosity and passion for exploring the planet started age six, the day he was given a globe.
After both studying Marine Biology at Uni we went on a field trip to Indonesia. The trip was awesome, but so focused on research that we never got to experience the culture. We didn't want to have to pick one over the other ... and so we started thinking about how we could do it better.
By combining our skill sets and sharing our experiences, we've put together a range of projects that allow students to develop themselves and gain valuable experience to help with both employment and university opportunities.
We believe that the best classrooms don’t have four walls. That adventures are the best way to learn. And that, if you want to make a difference, you need to expand your horizons and be the change.
Our trips are designed to 'make better people'. We’ve visited every location, spent time with every conservation project, shared meals with all our guides and want you to have the same great memories that we have!
If you’re ready to feel the world differently, come travel with us.
