Future Frontline is a community interest company founded in August 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, with the aims of inspiring and supporting today and tomorrow’s NHS healthcare workers. Our goals were identified by our team’s experience of working as healthcare professionals and healthcare students on placements.

 Raise awareness of the multitude of healthcare careers in the NHS Widen participation into healthcare degrees, apprenticeships and careers support healthcare students and professionals throughout their course and careers Provide career advice for students and professionals 

Why our help matters?

Currently over 133,000 staff vacancies in NHS trusts in England Applications to healthcare degree are declining including an 11% decrease in the number of nursing students starting courses between 2021-2022 18.7% of NHS staff have experienced bullying or harassment from a colleague in the past year  Hierachal systems within the NHS discourage staff from speaking up about potential safety incidents leading to patients being at harm
