Sawadee as they say in Thailand - Hello! Welcome to Good Time Resort. Situated in Koh Mak the resort lies on a slope within walking distance from the two most popular pristine white sand beaches.
Koh Mak is a very remote island with no night life and the only activities are related to (silent) water sports. Our guests choosed to be away from the crwods and are happy to be at our hideaway.
The owners of the resort Kerstin Clausenius and her Thai-husband Yodying Sudhidhanakul, with their two children Lilith and Bennet, came to Koh Mak in 2006 to help build up the family based business of Family Friendly Resorts'. Kerstin headed up the projects, assisted by the support of her husband's family, who are members of the Koh Mak clan.
All of the villas of Good Time Resort are built in the authentic Thai style and together form a beautiful ensemble. From the very first conception of the resort, importance was placed on privacy as well as to classy interior furnishings. The use of natural materials has also been emphasized, with furniture and decorations handpicked from Thai antique markets and then restored. All villas are made up of a ground floor built with Thai bricks and are paved with terracotta tiles, providing a spaciously laid out terrace, a large living room, bedroom and a bath room.
Important: What guests regard as a dream - living on a remote island -can be very stressfull for the people and staff who live and work here. Logistic, transportation and local staff are real challenges. You have to be a bit tough to "survive" more than 3 month, and you have to be aware, that YOU are not on vacation and you have to restrain from alcohol. The two big plus working here are the guests (they choosed to be here and not with the crowds like in Pattaya or Koh Chang) and the beautiful island(s).
