The mission of GreenTheUK is to create a greener UK (as the name implies) by garnering support for various environmental and biodiversity related charity projects. It's an eco-centric mission that is fulfilling and something that I am proud to be a part of.

👩‍👧‍👧 Team members
We're a small team, and all my colleagues are absolutely wonderful. Support is given when needed, we help each other out if possible, and as the newest member of the team, they have been instrumental in helping me get up and running. Lovely individuals that sponsor a great work environment.

⛑ Employee wellbeing
Everything here contributes to great employee wellbeing. The work is fulfilling, my coworkers are amazing, there are regular check ins to make sure we're all doing well with work and if there is anything we need. The office environment is great, very green (literally, we have many plants and you get to choose a new one when you start), good location, and many team building activities.

There is good balance with working in office vs at home, there is a high level of employee recognition, acknowledging the good work you do here. My boss and colleague went above and beyond to make sure I had all the tools to succeed after starting, taking their own time to train me and answer all the questions I've had.

Overall

A great place to work in every aspect. Amazing team, beautiful and cozy office, warm environment, strong team bonding, and an excellent job that you can be proud to do. You're surrounded by people who make you want to succeed and help you along every step of the way, without hovering over your shoulder. There are opportunities to get physically involved in environmental days out with clients and you get to meet a broad range of fascinating people, each one carrying an opportunity.

Every day, we learn something new. We have hundreds of local UK projects and businesses supporting them from across different industries. We regularly have the opportunity to visit projects as well as learn from experts about our local wildlife - there's always more to learn!

📣 Mission & Purpose
We help restore and protect UK wildlife as well as educating and engaging businesses, their employees, stakeholders and local communities in the projects. We often work with schools which also teaches future generations how to do their bit to help protect our habitats and fight climate change.

The team at GreenTheUK is friendly, bright and ambitious - they are a joy to work with so I look forward to coming into work.

Overall

You are rewarded if you do well, and the best part is that if we do well we are also helping restore UK wildlife. We get to visit the projects around the country, pitch to businesses from multiple industries and collaborate with expert foresters, ecologists and more from our partner organisations. The learning is endless.
