Hertfordshire Chorus, directed by David Temple, is one of the finest large choirs in the country, with 130 members of all ages from across Hertfordshire, surrounding counties and London. Hertfordshire Chorus aims to offer a high standard of music in a fun and friendly atmosphere, singing a varied repertoire in and around Hertfordshire, including St Albans Cathedral and with appearances in the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Barbican Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall and Sage Gateshead. Hertfordshire Chorus has a fund to commission new music, maintaining and developing choral singing for the future and encouraging young composers. They are particularly proud of the work they do with children and young people, to help encourage the next generation of choral singers and music enthusiasts.
