Home Start Birmingham North & Inner City is a local organisation, under the umbrella of Home Start UK. Our qualified staff train volunteers to support families who are experiencing crisis or trauma and have at least one child under 5 years of age. Examples of the need amongst families are poor mental or physical health, a parent or child with a disability, bereavement; post-natal depression; domestic abuse or emotional well-being. Trustees are key in the leadership and governance of the organisation. They provide strategic and policy development, maintaining an overview of the scheme's affairs and its financial viability.
