Winning together is one of our values. Have as many 'parties' as we can and demand them of others. That might be lunch out, it might be sweet treats in the afternoon, it might be drinks, an escape room or crazy golf, it might even be a night at the Oscars (we can all dare to dream...)Team socials once a month. Anything from go-karting, board game nights, dinners, samba drumming and movie nights.

We leave it up to you to sort out when and how you take any holiday time. We said we don’t have any rules – we do however want you to make sure you take at least 28 days a year off from Intelligent Appliances (this includes all the usual public holidays in England and Wales). We’ll also put our foot down and say that you have to take the day off for your birthday (or as close as possible to it).
Whether your child's ill, you're waiting for a package, or you have some deep-focussed work to do, we all work from home (or café) from time to time. We encourage everyone to work from home when you need to.

If you want to take more time off than your holiday we're happy to accommodate that.
We invest in better, not more when it comes to kit and systems. Choose your own equipment: let us know which tools you need and we’ll do our best to get them for you.
Cyclists welcome! We're up for registering for the Cycle-to-Work scheme, so you can buy a bike and accessories tax-free.
We'll get together as a team to get to know each other away from the office.
We'll plant 48 trees a month to offset your carbon footprint.
We’ll also participate in a rail company corporate season ticket programme for you. This will mean we loan you the cost of the season ticket and you will need to sign up to the employee agreement to pay back this amount through your salary.
We believe that everyone at Intelligent Appliances should get the benefit of any success we have. So, we’ll share 5% of any pre-tax profits we’ve all made.
We want to support the financial wellbeing of all our people. That’s why we’ll become a Living Wage Employer in 2022 and pay at least the Living Wage to anyone who’s part of the Intelligent Appliances family.
