JUBEL Beer has managed exactly that – creating a stunning selection of tasty beers cut with real fruit. It’s both vegan and gluten-free, and described as “dangerously refreshing”. Pursuing a mission of ‘beer done differently’ since 2015, JUBEL has been committed to sustainable practices from the off – and last year it achieved B Corp status. The team at JUBEL are such a joy to work with. Everyone is driven, enthusiastic about the brand and just lovely to be around. There is a real sense of support within the team whether it be lending a hand with a project, celebrating each others wins or just offering sound advice whenever needed.
📣 Mission & Purpose
Something that massively appealed to me during the interview process was that Jesse and JUBEL have a very clear strategy and mission. With sustainability at the heart of the company it was so refreshing to see a company that so clearly holds itself accountable for its impact on the environment. The mission to carve out a new category of fruit lager is such an exciting and ambitious goal and something I'm loving being a part of. It's also very cool to be part of a beer brand that has a 50/50 male/ female consumer split. This is so rare for beer!
👻 Transparency
There are no questions at JUBEL with the answer, 'that's not relevant to you'. JUBEL's culture encourages questions. We have regular team meetings which provide a great platform for everyone's opinions to be voiced and questions to be answered. These meetings also provide in depth break downs of how the business is tracking on targets and how each branch of the business is doing. We know what we are aiming for and how we aim to achieve it. More importantly, JUBEL doesn't shy away from discussion on previous failures and the learnings those mishaps have highlighted.
Overall
My experience at JUBEL has only ever been and continues to be positive. Being part of a company that values its employee's like JUBEL does is truly refreshing.
