Maslaha

Maslaha ('for the common good' in Arabic) is a charity based in East London. Established as an independent organisation in January 2011 Maslaha started out as a Young Foundation project in 2007 and continues its strong tradition of social innovation combining creativity and entrepreneurship to tackle major social needs.

In February 2012 Maslaha was recognised as one of Britain's 50 New Radicals a joint initiative by NESTA and The Observer newspaper to find examples of inspirational pioneers improving the lives of people and communities across the country in radical and creative ways.
