Matthews Yard

Matthews Yard is a creative hub in central Croydon which occupies more than 10,000 sq ft and incorporates a live music venue, studio theatre, coworking space, creative suites, art gallery and three popular food concessions, Brgr&Beer, Hoodoo's Coffee and Bobski's Kitchen.

Established in April 2012 as a simple coffee shop and coworking space, we have evolved rapidly to now operate one of Croydon's most successful venues. We currently provide space to more than a dozen local businesses who employ more than 40 people, the majority of them local and contributing more than £1m per year to the local economy.

In 2017 we have plans to further consolidate our position in Croydon, while also looking at opportunities to expand beyond it. We are particularly keen to work with property owners who are willing to work on a JV and revenue sharing basis with 5-10 year lease terms.
