In my humble opinion, Mimica was one of the most unique and innovative organisations to enter the Escape 100 this year. They're taking on the murky practice of food expiry date calculation with their flagship product - Mimica Touch. This clever, temperature-sensitive tag gives consumers a real-time indication of freshness, reducing the reliance on an oft-inaccurate expiry date and preventing consumable food from being unnecessarily wasted. It has gamechanging potential for the way we consume food but also for pharmaceuticals and other industries. Keep an eye out for openings as this motley crew of creatives and scientists continues to grow their reach.
