Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes (NABB)

NABB is an umbrella organisation representing the collective interests of 32 member blood bike groups across the UK & Ireland. We promote the efficiency and effectiveness of Blood Bike Groups by:• supporting the Blood Bike Groups in providing a professional, rapid response, medical transport service to the NHS / HSE;• promoting the activities of Blood Bike Groups to the NHS / HSE and the public;• pursuing parity with other front line emergency services in terms of legislative support and national recognition;• promoting the adherence by Blood Bike Groups to standards set by health and transport regulatory bodies and relevant legislation. A Blood Bike Group is a charity which advances health by providing a ‘free at point of use’ courier service to or from NHS (or equivalent) establishments for products directly related to patient welfare
