Oxford Scholastica Academy runs summer courses for 12-18 year olds, giving them the skills, knowledge and network to get ahead in life. If you’re a fan of Escape 100, the chances are you’ve had a summer job at some point. But have you ever considered a summer job in academia? It’s not as stuffy as it sounds. In fact, working for Oxford Scholastica sounds like an absolute blast. I love the fact that everyone is really aligned around our worldview, which focuses on encouraging active thinking, collaboration and long-term thinking in our team and students.

It's great to work with such a motivated, dedicated and talented team, from whom I learn so much.
📖 Opportunities to learn
Learning is built into the heart of OSA, and we gain from the experiences we go through and the supportive challenge we provide to each other.
Overall
I've set up and run a number of different ventures before over the past 15 or so years, but I can't think of one which I've woken up each day with such motivation and excitement to start work. I feel very lucky - it never feels like work.

Overall
By far the best job I've had – the team are wonderful and it's so great to work so closely with people who genuinely value and invest in such an important mission.
There are ample opportunities for progression from the very beginning, and there's a notable effort to personally recognise the achievements of individual team members.
It's also wonderful to work so flexibly, both in terms of location and in terms of portfolio – we all manage our own workload, but there's also a lot of scope to collaborate and build on each others' experiences and insight.
I can't recommend it enough!
