Who are we?

Po-Zu is an ethical and ecological shoe brand pioneer. Our shoes are made using carefully selected natural materials that are healthy for feet safe for all the workers throughout their supply chain and kind to the environment.

About our shoes

Everybody knows the importance of a good mattress to keep you feeling energised and banish aches and pains. Why should your shoes, which bear the entire weight of your body throughout the day, be any different to your bed?

That’s why we have incorporated the revolutionary Foot Mattress - layers of spiralled, naturally pliable coconut fibres linked together with high-elasticity natural latex and wrapped in either soft, chrome-free suede or vegan eco-microfibre… How deliciously comfortable!

What makes the Foot-Mattress unique? Air pockets in the mattress react to your weight, heat, and foot movement, so that the coir fibre gently forms itself around the shape of your foot, eliminating pressure points and maximising support. What could be more comfortable than a shoe that is custom-engineered just for you?

Innovation

Our first step in transforming high heels to be highly wearable without compromising on comfort thanks to some natural design features; a cork based contoured footbed with shock-absorbing natural latex foam inserts, highly comfortable ergonomic last shape, and wooden wedge and heel that naturally absorb impacts far better than the widely used hard plastic heels - which are normally covered in various synthetic materials. We were also pleased to introduce a new leather substitute made from pineapple leaf fibres to our collection in the form of new style Ello made using Piñatex. These timeless feminine flats have been finely crafted and are furnished with a removable slim-lined Foot-Mattress™ for a barefoot shoe experience, yet with a subtle under foot cushioning.
