Polygeia

Polygeia is a think tank that aims to give students the opportunity to engage in global health research and policy making by providing policy makers and others with the opportunity to commission evidence based global health policy.

The core purpose of our new Board is to facilitate a transition from a purely student-run venture to a fully fledged Social Enterprise that works on a range of commissioned global health projects and employs a dedicated full time Director.

Why are we exciting?

Polygeia is at a critical period of development. Since our founding in Cambridge early 2014 we have worked with well over 100 student researchers and committee members, taken on over twenty research project, expanded to three new Universities and won a year in the Social Enterprise East's Incubator.

This year will see the recruitment of our first paid employee, our first paid commissions and even international expansion.

But such rapid development now requires expert guidance to ensure Polygeia becomes a sustainable Social Enterprise that can fully harness the ingenuity and enthusiasm of students to improve the design and delivery of global health policy.
