Escape's take on Puraffinity
Puraffinity’s mission is to provide 1 billion people with PFAS safe water by 2030. What does that mean? PFAS (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are a group of manufactured chemicals that are persistent in the environment and in the human body. These substances have been found in drinking water, food, air, soil, dust, and consumer products. And that’s where Puraffinity come in – they are developing a new class of targeted adsorbents to enable the removal of PFAS from water. A truly inspirational mission, Puraffinity are one to watch in the world of water treatment.
