Reach to Teach

Reach to Teach (R2T) is a UK-based educational charity, which exists to transform the lives of children in rural and marginalised communities in India by improving the quality of primary education. R2T improves children's prospects by boosting their attendance and supporting government teachers in improving the quality of teaching and learning using internationally proven best practice methods.

Founded in 2003, R2T has grown significantly, from a short-term project that brought lessons to Indian children from a converted bus, to an established organisation improving the learning outcomes of several thousands of children.

In addition to running an intensive Education & Community programme in more than 200 government schools in Gujarat, R2T is significantly expanding its India footprint in the areas of Government Teacher Transformation, Head Teacher Leadership Development and bringing communities and schools closer by increasing community awareness of the importance of education and regular attendance.
