Careers at Code First: Girls

Why aren't there more women in tech and entrepreneurship? It's a complex issue, but here at Code First: Girls we do believe one thing - tech shouldn't just be a boys club.

We are a social enterprise that tackles the issue by doing three things:

Ôªø‚ÄãOne, we support young and professional women to develop further personal and professional skills. This includes technical skills in coding and programming as well as personal skills.

‚ÄãTwo, we connect women to a community of other talented and like minded women and companies who can support and accompany them through their professional development.

And three, we help companies train their people, and develop their talent management policies and processes so they don’t miss out on amazing female tech talent.

We are a social enterprise that works with women and the companies who hire them. Over the past three years we have taught over 3000 women to code, delivered £1.5 million of free education, and helped companies to recruit better tech talent into their firms.

Our community is doing amazing things. You can read a bit about what we do here and on our website and social communities, and also drop us a line at info@codefirstgirls.org.uk.
