Breaking Barriers has quickly become the largest employment service for refugees in the UK. Since our inception in 2015, we have grown to support in excess of 300 refugees per year and have ambitious plans to expand this as part of our 3-year strategic plan.
We are looking for similarly driven and ambitious individuals keen to join a small but rapidly growing organisation.
The primary programmes we currently have in place are:
BB Employment: One-to-one employment support is delivered by caseworkers, with the support of a network of skilled volunteers.
BB English: To help overcome the language challenge preventing many refugees from entering employment, work focused English support is provided at all English levels.
BB Prospects: To help refugees create the networks needed to get into work, Breaking Barriers links with businesses who provide work placements, workshops, and mentoring.
