We support underrepresented entrepreneurs to develop the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to launch and grow a business. We do this through delivering workshops, events, and 1:1 volunteering support, connecting entrepreneurs in a vibrant supportive community, and building networks and partnerships with other organisations who share our vision.
Since 2014, Hatch has supported close to 8,000 founders, 6744 founders through our community events and mentoring, and 1079 founders through our in-depth programmes such as Hatch Launchpads, Incubators and Accelerators, on their journey to build sustainable, impactful businesses, bringing them together with the experience and skills of more than 1000 mentors and coaches in the process. Up until early 2020, the majority of the entrepreneurs we worked with were based in London and the South East. Having since taken our portfolio of support programmes online, increasingly we now work with entrepreneurs from right across the UK.

We've been working hard on making the company inclusive and transparent. The team is included in organisational decision making. We publish pay data and everyone has access to management information. We've been a member of the Living Wage Foundation for 5+ years, ensuring we're committed to London Living Wage and we also support new initiatives like the Halo Code (for black and brown staff to show up with any hairstyle). We are still working hard to make sure we're removing any biases when recruiting and also when it comes to pay. We've not got a gender pay-gap but we've got an ethnicity pay gap which we've started to address in 2020 and will work even harder on in 2021, through strategic hires.
