Everyone I've spoken to in the company has been fascinating and enjoyable to talk to. People have had wildly different experiences and are open and honest when talking about them. It helps that we have randomly allocated catch up calls with a new person in the company every week through Donut!
🏖 Flexibility
The company is very flexible and understanding when it comes to part time work. I never feel like I'm judged for being part time, and people are open to meeting you halfway in terms of meeting times and meeting vs product work balance.
⛑ Employee wellbeing
Managers always encourage us to take sick days if we're not feeling well. I almost can't say "I'm feeling rough but I'm just going to push through!" The wellbeing budget is great and there are good options for socialising and connecting with other team members and getting support if you need it.

🏖 Flexibility
I am trusted to get my job done, and what happens around that is really up to me. Honestly, in my role that tends to be working and making myself available for customer calls between 9-5 but I REALLY value knowing I have the flexibility to manage my work in the best way for me. Everyone has a life to manage outside of work and I value that I don't need to worry if something does come up.
📣 Mission & Purpose
Applied exists to do something positive in the world, making recruitment fairer. As with every job there can be hard meetings and difficult calls but at the end of the day you've spent your working hours making a difference to the world. For me, that sense of purpose to my time is huge in terms of aligning with my values.
Overall
I work under the best manager I have ever had. If a remote set-up is your jam and you care about fairness and DE&I - Applied is a fantastic place to be. - A
