👭 Inclusivity
I feel Stronger Stories has inclusivity woven into its DNA. Whether it is our Story School that opens up access to our story skills and tools, through to our inclusive policies and behaviours, the way we socialise and work together, and in our broader overarching mission to democratise storytelling power. That's why it means a lot to us that we have been awarded B Corp and Blueprint status as external recognition of our inclusive practices. We are also guided by one of our most important internal behaviours, "Not about them without them" which ensures the right people remain central to our thinking and decision making - whether on behalf of clients or to guide our own agency impact.
📣 Mission & Purpose
Past roles have asked me leave to my values at the door. That's not the case here at Stronger Stories. I feel I can use my skills and creativity to deliver meaningful and purposeful work for clients. I also love that we are a social enterprise and channel our profits back into things like our Story School and free consultancy. As an agency, I feel we are truly disruptive in the industry, not least because we are driven by kindness and compassion. We know who we want to work with and why, and we are all aligned around a very simple but motivating goal - to democratise storytelling power, with love.
🏖 Flexibility
We are a small, fast-moving start-up building a disruptive agency model in a competitive market. But there is still lots of room for flexibility in the way we work together. We are all able to work remotely if we need to (and several of us choose to) and we also have a welcoming space to come together as a team in our office. I can fit my work around childcare and I know that the team gives me lots of trust and autonomy to deliver what's expected of me.
Overall
I talk about my work at Stronger Stories with so much pride. I feel that I have found a place where I can bring my whole-self to work, and where I can be a creative storyteller as much as a strategic consultant. I feel I am part of something important that matches my beliefs and values. Most importantly, I am always pleased to see my colleagues and I get a lot from working and socialising with them. Our culture is open, honest, kind and welcoming. Good ideas are celebrated and good people are valued. I feel we are a small but mighty team having an important impact on people's lives.
