Trees for Cities are the only UK charity working at a national and international scale to improve lives by planting trees in cities. And they're doing an amazing job. Since they were founded in 1993, they've engaged over 100,000 volunteers to plant over 1,000,000 trees in cities around the world. Not only does planting trees help to mitigate climate change by absorbing CO2, but it also improves air quality, reduces the risk of flooding, boosts biodiversity and improves mental health and wellbeing.
