I’ve never worked with such an amazing, supportive, friendly and driven group of people that both motivate me and drive me to do more and better. It’s truly a team atmosphere where no one is back stabbing or trying to one up each other but rather finding ways to help each other maximize our impact and mission while having fun. It’s become cliche to describe work colleagues as family but it’s hard to find another word that accurately captures how I feel about our team.r

📣 Mission & Purpose
Everyone no matter what their role or responsibilities comes to Devex each day because we care about our mission and purpose. While we are a business, our primary driver is to be a sustainable source of information that helps those on the frontlines of humanitarian and foreign aid work do more, do better, and better understand how they can do both. Our motto is do good, do it well and that ethos is infused into everything we do internally and externally. I think this drive is the connective tissue that motivate us, connects us, and propels is to do our vet work.

📖 Opportunities to learn
As a flat organization with little hierarchy, there is so much opportunity to learn and grow, find and develop you own projects, and try new things most companies would make you wait years to do. With an entrepreneurial core to our culture, those who want to push the boundaries, take risks and try new things are encouraged to do so. There are also a wide range of training courses and programs available, learning sessions on a wide range of topics with both internal and external speakers and a real spirit of mentorship.

I’ve worked here for 15 years and would not have it I didn’t love the people, the work, our mission, the learning and growth opportunities and the impact I feel I get to make every day.
