promote the use, for the public benefit, of plant collections in Britain and Ireland; support the use of plant collections as national resources for horticulture, research, education and conservation; and, encourage the highest standards of practice in all aspects of the management of plant collections and their conservation for the public benefit.
Put simply, PlantNetwork exists to support gardens, arboreta and other plant collections.
