Screen Share is a young but ambitious award-winning charity. In the past couple of years we have (somehow) become the leading provider of tech support to refugees and asylum seekers.
Our mission is to ensure every refugee in the UK has access to the right connected device and has the skills to use it. This problem is fundamentally solveable and corporates hold they key. We are really going to go for it over the next couple of years.
Digital inclusion - laptops, phones, digital skills and internet connectivity - is a necessary condition of human flourishing and integration. Our task is to help the private sector understand this and donate their used technology to people who need it, rather than sending it to landfill.

The team achieves this in a very unique way - by collecting, refurbishing and donating unwanted laptops and tablets to refugees and people from refugee backgrounds. The work they do is so important, and is having such a direct impact on the lives of vulnerable communities in the UK.
