Emerge Worldwide's work involves raising awareness surrounding some of the key issues that lead to sexual exploitation and sex trafficking, and its destructive consequences. The work focuses on prevention of the issues, victim identification and support through advocacy, public support andempowerment of communities. We do this through preventative work, outreach work, community work, events and partnering/collaborating with organisations. We deliver interventions such as training, workshops, seminars and talks to children, young people, adults, professionals and all who work and care for these groups. It is vitally important to educate our communities, and raise strong and powerful advocates. We believe every woman, girl and all children should be empowered on how they can safeguard and protect themselves, and to live purposefully, free lives. We also work with victims and survivors, supporting their healing from traumas, and empowering them to rebuild their lives, providing practical support and working with partner organisations to provide them with what they need to effectively live in their community. This is a battle that cannot be won alone. It takes a movement of people.
