CURE International UK (CURE UK) is committed to improving access to quality surgical services for children with treatable disabilities across sub-Saharan Africa. As part of the CURE Children’s Hospitals Network, we provide free specialised surgical and rehabilitative care to children suffering from life-limiting, yet treatable, conditions.Our key partner, CURE Children’s Hospital of Zimbabwe, has been at the forefront of delivering world-class, comprehensive care since 2021. This facility is the first and only hospital in Zimbabwe dedicated to offering free surgical care for conditions such as clubfoot, cleft lips and palates, bowed legs, burn contractures, and neglected trauma. The hospital houses 42 beds, three operating theatres, an outpatient clinic, and physiotherapy services, performing over 1,000 surgeries annually. Without surgery, children face lifelong disability, exclusion, and poverty. With it, they gain independence, education, and dignity.
